1-25-07-Thursday: Animals For Awareness: Kim from
Animals for Awareness will bring rare, exotic animals that she rescued from abandonment. This non-for profit organization
sends the message regarding humane treatment of animals. Come and pet a lynx, an alligator, snakes, and many more!!!
Open to everyone after school in lecture hall. Free admission but a $1 dollar donation would be appreciated.

everyone!! BURN BABY BURN..Don't miss this exciting workday as we burn out wood piles under the supervision of Roger Keller,
steward at Palos Restoration.
1-29-07-Monday: In-school field trip for Canada Voyageur Canoe Program.
You can sign up to come down to the lecture hall during 2nd, 3rd or 4rth hour to listen to a slideshow and lecture about the
canoe trip and the natural park. Two young canadians will present including "Sparky" the most popular guide!!

avaialbe. Need students willing to learn how to monitor frogs at our prairie site.
2-17-06; Saturday: PRAIRIE WORKDAY, 10am-noon.

3-4-07-Saturday: Wild Things Conference. Join hundreds of people in the
Chicagoland area who care about nature. Learn about prairies, controlled burns, habitat restoration, butterflies, animals,
and so much more. Registartrion begins in January. Will be held at NorthEastern Illinois University from 8-4pm.
